We wrote the
software we plan with.
Off-the-shelf tools weren't built for running cable through apartment hallways, so we built our own. NetInstall Planner turns your floorplan and photos into a measured install plan — and a materials list you can actually read.
The whole job
on one sheet.
A 2D overhead view of your entire property — units, hallways, stairwells and closets with real dimensions — with every cable run, raceway section, access point and junction box drawn where it will actually go.
Four layers,
one plan.
Each layer feeds the next — so by the time we send your estimate, we already know where every foot of cable goes.
Scaled layout
We sketch your building or trace over your floorplan, then calibrate it to a known measurement. Rooms, hallways and units show their true dimensions.
Cable & raceway paths
Every run is traced point to point from the switch to each device. Raceway is drawn separately, only where cable will be visible — so you're not paying for sheathing you don't need.
Devices & boxes
Access points, switches, gateways, junction and split boxes, wall jacks — placed on the plan, with runs snapped to them. Brand-agnostic: any manufacturer.
Photo detail areas
Your photos of hallways, stairwells and exterior walls are pinned to the plan, scaled, and marked up with the exact route and install notes for the crew.
Materials takeoff
Cable by type with service loops and waste, raceway rounded to sticks, devices and connectors counted — totaled across the plan and every photo.
The crew's map
On install day the same plan is on our phones — every run, every box, every note — so what we quoted is what we build.
Better plans.
Faster quotes.
Fewer surprises.
- Quick turnaround. Because your floorplan and photos go straight into the planner, we can scope a job from what you send — often without a first site visit.
- An estimate you can read. Itemized by material and quantity, not a single mystery number.
- Accuracy that scales. One building or a dozen — every hallway and stairwell is counted the same way.
- A record of your network. Where every cable runs and every device lives, documented for future work.
Put your building in the planner.
Send a floorplan with dimensions and photos of the hallways and walls where cable would go. Mark the run path if you can — it makes the estimate even more accurate.
